    Healthy Futures
This program was introduced during open enrollment. It is totally voluntary but if you choose to participate, you will be rewarded next plan year with lower deductibles (Moda) or copays (Kaiser). There are four steps to this program and there is a lot of information on OEBB’s site here. If you didn’t sign up at open enrollment you still can. Log on to your OEBB account. On the home page, select “view/edit my Healthy Futures selection”. Both you and your spouse if covered must participate to get the reduced deductible next year. To login try the first part of your school email as a username. The password must have upper and lowercase letters and a number. The link above will tell you how to complete the program.

    Healthy Team Healthy U
This program was also introduced during open enrollment but didn't get as much press as Healthy Futures. It’s a free, 12 session, interactive wellness program that you can do with coworkers or on your own. You may recall a few colleagues sporting new pedometers they received for signing up last fall. The link to information about this program is here. Ms Denney is participating and has this to say: “It’s a good tutorial on how to manage fitness, nutrition, and stress. And the pedometer is really cool.”

    Mood Helper
This is another free benefit with OEBB. It’s a confidential online tool to help adults deal with depression. Information is here. Mood Helper is funded by NIH and hosted by Kaiser Center for Health Research. It shows you how to combat depression with two strategies: doing fun things and changing unrealistic thinking. You can log your activities, keep track of your mood from day to day and see if these strategies are working for you.

As always if you have any questions about benefits or need help logging in to OEBB contact me. If I don’t know the answers, I know how to find them and I am happy to help everyone make the most of our benefits.
