CMS Announcements

  • Meet Our New CMS Staff!!

     Mr. Ramos

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Jesus "Paz" Ramos, our new CMS Principal.

Mr. Ramos is a graduate of Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, with a BA in Health and Physical Education and earned his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Leadership from Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.

He began his teaching career in Nyssa as a reading teacher and went on to teach various subjects including drama, PE, ELD, Language Arts and Health. During his teaching career, he was involved in sports. He coached volleyball, basketball, football, and track.

After earning his master's degree, he went on to become a school leader in Nyssa, Parma, and Reynolds SD.

As principal of Alder Elementary in the Reynolds SD, he helped Alder to become the nation’s first Dreamer School. This meant that Alder received mentoring, extra tutoring, support at home and perhaps, scholarships as a way to propel the students into college and beyond.

He is the proud father of two daughters, three stepchildren and five grandchildren.

Mr. Ramos is excited to get to know the students, staff, and families of Colton.
